The International Business Brokerage Association reports in their 1Q24 Market Pulse report that buyers were dominating terms on small deals. For transactions under $1 million (e.g., small assisted living facilities, most home care agencies, home health agencies, and adult daycares), half to three-quarters of business intermediaries reported that it was a buyer's market. Conversely, it appeared to be a seller's market for the larger deals.
